Regional Relays – Saturday 9 Nov 2013 – Bowden Park, Geebung
There will be no competition at Windsor Park this Saturday 9 Nov as the Regional Relays are being held at Bowden Park, Geebung. The program starts at 8:30am and the schedule and list of entries can be found here. Please check the list and if you cannot attend an event please respond by email asap as teammates in the running relays are relying on athletes to be there. Please arrive at least ½ hour before the event. Most athletes have been placed in the relays that they nominated for. In a few instances because of numbers this did not occur but those athletes will likely get the opportunity to run in slightly older age group relays which will be advised on the day of the event.

Full uniform must be worn at Regional Relays – shorts, top with registration number, age patch and IGA and Medibank badge sewn on. Skins may only be worn inside out – without the logo showing. Use of spikes is limited and for those age groups that can wear spikes they must be only put on at the event. Normal running shoes need to be worn to the event. Details of the spike rule is attached.
Our normal Saturday competition will resume at Windsor Park on 16 November.
Relay Training – Tuesday and Thursday this week
We will be undertaking relay training tonight – Tuesday, and Thursday at Windsor Park from 6pm to 7:15pm. All athletes, not just those competing at Regional Relays, can attend.
Please be at Bowden Park, Geebung, ½ hour before first scheduled event.
We will be setting up shade structures early Saturday morning. Any parents who can assist with setting up our tents please be at the ground from 7:30am. There could be a few brief showers this coming Saturday. This will not prevent the competition from proceeding.
