Training - Tuesday and Thursday
We will be having training this Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm at Windsor Park. We will have a number of coaches in attendance. All athletes are encouraged to attend. Rain is forecast for Tuesday but as long as it is not raining at 6pm we will be able to proceed with the session.
Parent Athlete Challenge/Club Fundraiser - this coming Saturday 25 February at 3pm
This Saturday we will have the Parent/Athlete races which are 100m races between athletes and parents. There will also be egg &spoon, three legged and sack races. To raise money we ask that each athlete make a gold coin donation for the races.
In addition we will be holding a raffle with a number of prizes to also raise funds for the club - primarily for extra hurdles and high jump equimpment. If anyone has any raffle prizes that they can donate please let me know.
We will have 3 normal events this Saturday, followed by the Novelty events/races and then an optional distance race - 800m. Parents can also compete in this longer race.
This was a very popular day last year and lets hope we can raise considerable funds for the club. Due to increased membership in the club we need more equipment.
