Training - Week of 6th February


We will be back at Windsor Park this Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm for training.  We will have a number of coaches in attendance.  All athletes are encouraged to attend.
 
This Saturday we will also be at Windsor Park for training at 2pm and main competition at 3pm.  The calendar refers to us having our Parent/Child competition and fundraiser this Saturday but this will actually take place in the next 2 to 3 weeks and a flyer will be prepared and distributed regarding this.

Regional Championships

The club has had a very successful Regional Championships this past weekend.  We had about 50 athletes qualify for the State Champs which may be a club record - many personal bests were set and all of our athletes gave 100%.  Many thanks to all of the parents who helped - particulary Shane Egan who was our long jump chief and worked tirelessly from Friday night right through to late Sunday.
 
Full results will be available soon and the schedule for the State Champs will be distributed shortly - it will held in Brisbane on Friday to Sunday 23 to 25 March.
