The rain may be over but Windsor Park is still out of commission. Accordingly because of the Regional Championships this weekend and the need to get some training in we will be training at the track at Nudgee College this Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15 to about 7:45 - athletes can leave prior to 7:45 if they wish.   This is an all weather tartan track and is unaffected by the recent wet weather.
 
All athletes are encouraged to attend particularly those competing at the Regional Championships.  The Nudgee College track is located just off Sandgate Rd just north of Boondall.  Going north turn right off Sandgate Rd into Zillmere Rd and you cannot miss it.
 
We will be trying to train in all of the events (depending on having the equipment there) so that those competing this weekend are prepared. 

Regional Championships - Friday 3 to Sunday 5 February

The regional championships are this weekend.  This is the qualifier for the state champs to be held end of March.

The final list of athletes can be found here. We have a very strong 97 athlete team competing - best of luck to all of them.
 
The meet will take place at Leslie Patrick Oval, Oleiria St, Arana Hills.  A map of the field can be found here as is the schedule.  Be there 1 hour before the start of the event.
 
Our club is running the long jump so we will need all parents to assist with running that event and we will work out the schedule as the week goes on.
 
There will be no Saturday competition this Saturday at Windsor Park because of the Regional Champs.
